• Followed up with Nick Bowlin, new correspondent at E&E News,
regarding Carmel's environmental initiatives:
• Reconnected Mayor. Brainard with the Mayor of Ossining, NY, which
is constructing its first roundabout, inspired by a speech Mayor
Brainard delivered featuring-Carmel's roundabouts in Westchester
County, NY in 2015.
• Shared with national media Mayor Brainard's remarks to Carmel's
large Chinese-American community highlighting Carmel's
progressive incorporation of that and other international
communities into its residential and business sectors.
• Connected the Mayor with Paul Lasley, editor of OnTraveLcom, for a
late February interview on Carmel's roundabouts.

• Reached out to Mary Kane, President and CEO, and Adam Kaplan,

Carmel may enhance its existing sister cities relationships as well as
build new ones.

• Continue reaching out to New York media who may be interested in
interviewing Michael Feinstein re: Carmel and the Center for the
Performing Arts
• Further merchandise recent stories on Carmel.in attempt to generate
additional media coverage.
• Continue outreach to site consultants with Carmel and an invitation for
them to consider Carmel for the corporate expansions and relocations
they are managing.
• Share (with the Mayor and Nancy Heck) appropriate media leads that
come my way; follow up appropriately.
• Continue outreach for relevant speaking engagements for the Mayor
and/or other Carmel representatives.

• Report on dialogue with Sister Cities International leadership
