SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
Thursday, January 26, 2017 — 8:00 A.M.
COUNCIL CHAMBERS/CITY HALL/ONE CIVIC SQUARE
MEMBERS PRESENT
Council President Sue Finkam, Council Members Ronald E. Carter, Kevin D. Rider, H. Bruce Kimball,
Anthony Green, and Deputy Clerk Jacob Quinn were in attendance.
Councilors Laura D. Campbell and Jeff Worrell were not in attendance.
Council President Finkam called the meeting to order at 8:01 a.m.
CLAIMS
Councilor Rider moved to approve payroll in the amount'of $1,647,590.42. Councilor Kimball seconded.
There was no Council discussion. Council President Finkam called for the vote. Payroll was approved 5-0
Councilor Rider moved to approve claims in the amount of $4,220,172.24. Councilor Kimball seconded.
There was no Council discussion. Council President Finkam called for the vote. Claims were approved 5-
0
Councilor Rider moved to acknowledge wire transfers in the amount of $18,485,315.51. Councilor Green
seconded. There was no Council discussion. Council President Finkam called for the vote. Wire
Transfers were acknowledged 5-0.
Special Encumbrance $7,904.23
* Notice is hereby given to Carmel City Council that corrective action was taken by the Clerk -Treasurer's
Office to add six (6) 2016 purchase orders to 2017 encumbrances totaling $7,904.23 for Court Funds 502
and 506. This was necessary due to an inadvertent mistake made on the part of a temporary briefly
employed by the Clerk -Treasurer's Office and now correctly reflects the Court's intended encumbrances
to be rolled into 2017.
No action was necessary by Council for the Special Encumbrance
