A. davjs 21 • DEVELOPMENT, L.P. IAOCip ^CT 519J- Twin Lakes Subdivision Drainage Summary lECOVEC Currently the proposed Twin Lakes Subdivision parcel drains to seven (7 ) separate discharge points. These points, as well as the areas they drain, are shown on the Existing Conditions Drain- age Basin Map and are described below: The northwestern corner of the subject parcel drains to an existing 12" culvert located under Shelborne road. This culvert is located approximately 55 feet south of the northwest corner of the parcel. The west-central portion of the site drains in a westerly manor to two (2 ) 12" culverts also located under Shelborne Road. These culverts are located approximately 650 ' and 430 ' north of the southwest corner of the parcel. The southwestern corner of the parcel drains in a southerly manor towards the intersection of Shelborne Road and West 96th Street. The central portion of the tract, along with the majority of the adjacent Golf Course, drains to Trail Creek, which traverses the site in a northwest to southeast manor. This drainage basin, which contains three ( 3 ) existing ponds , is broken down into three subbasins in the existing condition stormwater routing model. The northwestern portion of the tract drains in an easterly manor to an unnamed tributary of Delaware Creek. The southeastern corner of the parcel drains to a 24" cul- vert located under 96th Street, approximately 45 ' west of the southeast corner of the tract. A small area located in the south-central portion of the parcel drains in a southerly manor to a 15" culvert under 96th Street. A 10-year was routed through the system thateconveyeTrailallowable underrelease 96th rate to the twin 48" cul 24-hour Street. The analysis revealed that the existing 10-year discharge rate at these culverts ar 24 hour dischargeyrate must not 245 cfs. The developed condition, 100-year exceed this value. Under the proposed conditions , five ( 5 ) additional lakes would be constructed as part of the stormwater management esystem. The southeast corner of the parcel will directly discharge to the 24" culvert under 96th Street which was previously de- scribed. As shown on the attached calculations, the proposed drainage plan will produce a peak discharge rate for a 100-year, 24-hour storm event of approximately 208 cfs. This is below the existing release rate for the 10-year, 24-hour storm event of approximate- ly 245 cfs .
