ORDINANCE D-2360-17
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL,
INDIANA, ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA
Synopsis: Officially adopts the supplement of ordinances for Quarter 3 of 2016 and
updates corresponding Carmel City Code
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has completed
the Third Quarter 2016 Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Carmel, which
supplement contains all ordinances of a general nature enacted since the prior supplement to the
code of ordinances of this municipality; and
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the' revision or
addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make references to
sections of the Indiana Code; and
WHEREAS, the Third Quarter 2016 Supplement has been reviewed by the Office of the
Clerk -Treasurer, Department of Law and American Legal Publishing, and found to be accurate;
and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Council to accept these updated sections in accordance
with the changes of the law of the State of Indiana.
- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Carmel, Indiana:
Section I: That the Third Quarter 2016 Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Carmel as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, and
is hereby adopted by reference as if set out in its entirety.
Section II:. All prior Ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with any provision of
-this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, this day of
Ror I I , 2017, by a vote of ayes and 9 nays.
