NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the Carmel Redevelopment Commission
(CRC)will receive sealed proposals until 2:00 p.m EDT on or before
the 12 day of July,2017 to the City of Carmel,30 West Main Street,
Suite 220,Carmel,IN 46032. Attn: Mike Lee.
CARMEL CENTER GREEN SITE IMPROVEMENTS
The project includes improvements to the Carmel Center Green lo-
cated between the Booth Tarkington Civic Theater and the Palladi-
um in Carmel, Indiana. Improvements include upgrades to facilities
to accommodate a winter ice skating rink and market and the
summer farmer's market. Improvements include: hardscape, ice
skating rink,site furniture,masonry,and utilities.
Bids shall be executed on forms called for in the specifications and
submitted in duplicate on the State Board of Accounts Form No.96.
Bids will be received until the date and time listed. All bids timely
received will be publicly opened and read aloud at a meeting of the
Carmel Redevelopment Commission on July 13, 2017 at 8:45 a.m.
EDT in the Council Chambers located on the second floor of Carmel
City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, at which time
such Bids will be taken under advisement.
Specifications along with bidding documents will be available begin-
ning June 28,2017 and may be examined at the Carmel Redevelop-
ment Commission Office,30 West Main Street,Suite 220,Carmel, IN
46032. Copies of the documents may be obtained at Reprographix,
Inc.through the http://wwW.reprographix.com/ website. Project ti-
tle shall be indicated on the sealed bid envelope as well as the con-
tractor's name and address delivered no later than the prescribed
date and time to the Carmel Redevelopment Commission Office, 30
West Main Street,Suite 220,Carmel,IN 46032.

A Pre-Bid meeting will be held in the Council Chambers located on
the second floor of Carmel City Hall,One Civic Square, Carmel, Indi-
ana 46032 on Thursday,July 6th at 11:00 AM. Attendance is recom-
mended but not mandatory.
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security for 5%of the total
bid in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the City
of Carmel and shall be good for a period of sixty(60)days after the
opening of bids.
The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will furnish, before
commencing work,a performance and payment bond to extend for
a period of one year after final acceptance in an amount equal to
the bid price of the contract awarded to said Contractor,and certifi-
cates of all insurance required by the specifications.
Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed
and shall complete the Work within the contract Time and dates set
forth in the Contract.
The City of Carmel reserves the right to waive any informalities and
to accept or reject any or all proposals received.
