2, INDICATES EXISTG WALLS TO
REMAIN.
3, THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR THE PROJECT WILL
REVIEW AND THOROUGHLY ACQUAINT HIMSELF WITH THE
COMPLETENSS OF THE DEMOLITION WORK AND ADVISE THE
ARCHITECT OF ANY ADDITIONAL DEMOLITION WORK THAT
MAY BE REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETED OR ANY ADDITIONAL
WORK THAT MAY BE REQUIRED BY THE DEMOLITION
CONTRACTOR. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR THE
PROTECTION IN HIS CONTRACTED SCOPE OF WORK WILL
ASSUME THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLETION OR
CORRECTION OF ANY DEMOLITION OR ADDITIONAL
DEMOLITION OF WORK THAT MAY BE REQUIRED TO EXECUTE
THE PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDING CAPPING,
REMOVAL, REROUTING OF SERVICES AS MAY BE REQUIRED
FOR THE PROJECT SO AS TO MAINTAIN THE BUILDING
SERVICES TO OTHER TENANTS AS REQUIRED BY THE
APPLICABLE CODES,
4. THE CONTACTOR WILL AT ALL TIMES MAINTAIN THE
INTEGRITY OF THE EXIT ENCLOSURES AND MAINTAIN ALL
STAIR DOORS IN THE CLOSED POSITION. DO NOT BLOCK
OPEN OR DISCONNECT EXIT DOORS.
5, COORDINATE ALL DEMOLITION WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION. CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW
DEMOLITION AND FULLY ACQUAINT HIMSELF WITH THE
EXISTG CONDITIONS AND THE INTERFACE OF THE NEW
WORK TO BE PERFORMED.
6, DEMOLITION WORK REQUIRED IN AREAS OF THE BUILDING
WHICH ARE TO BE RENOVATED OR RECEIVE NEW
CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE PERFORMED IN ORDER TO
MAINTAIN CONTINUOUS OPERATION OF NEW
CONSTRUCTION IN EXISTG AREAS OF THE FACILITY WITH
THE OWNER AND COORDINATED THE WORK SCHEDULE WITH
THE OWNER AT LEAST FIVE DAYS IN ADVANCE,
8. THE CONTRACT ENCOMPASSES THE REMOVAL. OF EXISTG
CONSTRUCTION TO BE PERFORMED AS INDICATED. ALL
DEMOLITION SHALL BE PERFORMED SO THAT REMAINING
CONSTRUCTION IS SAFE FOR FUTURE BUILDING USE OF
EXISTG OPERATION.
10, PROTECT ALL SCHEDULE CONSTRUCTION AND FINISHES
TO REMAIN, AND IF DAMAGED, REPAIR TO MATCH EXISTG,
11, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, AND ALL EXISTG SAFETY
SYSTEMS MUST BE MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT
CONSTRUCTION, ANY DOWN TIMES MUST BE REVIEWED
WITH THE ARCHITECT EXISTG CEILINGS AND FLOOR
FINISHES TO BE REMOVED COMPLETELY, SCRAPE AWAY
AND STRIP ALL CONCRETE TO A SMOOTH FLAT SURFACE
WHEN FLOOR FINISHES ARE TO BE REMOVED.
14. SALVAGE ALL EXISTING DOORS AND HARDWARE FOR
REUSE (U.N.O.)
15. SALVAGE ALL EXISTING MARKER BOARDS FOR REUSE
(U.N,O)
16. SALVAGE ALL EXISTING LIGHT FIXTURES FOR REUSE
