Fehribach A&F Engineering Co., Inc Date: October 30, 1996 Re: Merchants Square Shopping Center Introduction This memorandum is an addendum to the Traffic Impact Study prepared for the Merchants Square Shopping Center. This addendum addresses the intersection of l'16th Street and Keystone Avenue and the intersection of Carmel Drive and Keystone Avenue. Purpose The purpose of this addendum is to review the capacity of the intersection during the Noon Peak Hour and PM Peak Hour. The intersections mentioned above will be studied for two scenarios. - Existing Traffic Volumes (figure 4) and Existing Roadway Geometrics - Existing Traffic Volumes Plus Generated Traffic Volumes (figure 5) and Existing Roadway Geometrics Capacity Analysis Capacity analyses have been run for each of the study intersections. The computer solutions are included with this memorandum. However, during the PM Peak Hour, the northbound approach and the intersection levels of service fail. When the additional volumes generated by the remodeled Merchants Square Shopping Center are added to the intersection, there will be no change in the level of service during either of the peak hours.
