RE: Rezone of Falender Parcel
Utility and Traffic Statement
Dear Chuck:
The fol lowing is a summary of water, sewer and traffic conditions for the
proposed rezone of the Falender Parcel adjacent to Carmel Science and
Technology Park:
Water: Mater service shall be provided by the Indianapolis Water Company.
A water main presently exists'at the east property line on the south side
of 122nd Street. This main shall be extended to Pennsylvania Street along
the south side of 122nd Street.
Sanitary Sewers: Sanitary sewer service shall be provided by the Clay
-. Waste District. A conditional permit has been acquired for 30,750 G.P.D.
This is the same amount reserved for the present owner who is one of the
original guarantors of the Meridian Corridor project. An eight inch sewer
presently exists at the east property line and will be extended into the
project to service future building sites.

inch pipe located at the east property line. This drainage is routed
through the lake system for Carmel Science and Technology Park and is
designed for a 100 year flood.
Traffic: 122nd Street is proposed to be extended from the east property
line to Pennsylvania Street. The street will be 70 feet of right of way
with 37 feet of pavement consistent with the existing streets within
Carmel Science and Technology Park. Pennsylvania Street dilI be widened
cn the east side to 27 feet from centerline to match the existing pavement
section to the south at Meridian Technology Center.
This street pattern is consistent with the thoroughfare plan, a copy of
which is enclosed. Tom Welch has reviewed and given verba l approval of
the street concept.

The original traffic study prepared for Carmel Science and Technology Park
.— encompassed this area in its design calculations. No changes or additions
have been made which would alter the findings of this study. A copy of
this report is on file with the City of Carmel .
