RE: ACURA - CHRYSLER PROJECT
I understand that this information (absolutely complete and/or otherwise
explained in a separate letter to the Board) will be delivered to the
Department of Community Development by no later than January 16, 1986,
or the item will be tabled at T.A.C. and B.Z.A.
- Need one (1) additional customer parking space on Acura site.
- Parking spaces for Chrysler are shown on Acura site and
vice versus.
- Marie Drive width 30' back-to-back or face-to-face.
- Directional signs too large, 5'x18" shown, 3 sq. ft. allowed.
- Spot lights and wall lights not acceptable. These are not
shielded-down lights. Spot lights will adversely affect
neighbors to the north.
- Plant list should include common names, name of landscape
architect, and indicate number of plants.
- Too many spot lights on 96th Street will make area glow at
night.
- Show 88 Norway Spruce, 7'-0" trees.
- Needs more landscaping around buildings and parking lots.
Too much asphalt. (Display area oversized).
- Off-site landscaping (88) 7'-0" ht. Norway Spruce shall be
installed prior to construction of first dealership, or by no
later than April 1, 1986, if first building is constructed
during January through March 1986.

- Show sign setbacks, directional signs too tall at 4' -6";
need to be no more than 3' high. Too large at 7'-6" sq. ft. ;
need to be no larger than 3 sq. ft.
- When will construction of buildings begin?
- Letter from Tom Welch on drainage, and Steve Couts on fire
protection.
- Sign landscaping plan.
- BZA minutes show that Mr. Martin understands the sign ordinance
and that no additional signs will be installed anywhere on
the site without proper approval of BZA and proper permits.
- Indicate size of perimeter easement.
- Light illumination at property line cannot exceed .1 footcandle.
- What about lot lighting on north side for security?
- Show all proposed utility lines.
- Topo map does not show elevations.
- Show existing and final grade elevations at property corner
and of building.
- Show elevation of storm systems.
- Need cross section of road, curbs, parking lot.
- Landscaping in front of service bays needs to be of evergreen
variety to screen from Marie Drive.
