Docket No. 92-86, Subdivision Sign Approval/Change for Waterford Subdivision.
Proposed sign is to be located in a median strip divider at the entrance to the
subdivision located at the southeast corner of Carmel Drive E. and Keystone Avenue,
Carmel, IN. Proposed sign is 9 ft. high brick and routed limestone construction
with black painted letters. Size of sign and logo is 6.6 sq. ft. (sign is 1 ft.
x 5 ft.6 inches and logo is 1 ft. x 1 ft. ) Exterior ground lighting is proposed.

o Staff recommends height not to exceed 5 ft. or 6 ft. , per other subdivision

yellow to indicate no parking along divided entrance road.
o Developer will determine exact location of existing entry island; must not
encroach into Carmel right-of-way per original construction plans on file with
City Engineer.
o Resurfacing of Carmel Drive in front of Subdivision must be completed by developer
by no later than January 1, 1987, per approved plans.
o Landscaping looks good; recommend other plants than euonymus vegetus
Keystoraa Station Simon Approval
Docket No. 93-86 ADLS, a Sign Approval Application for Keystone Station, a multi-
tenant commercial shopping center. Site is zoned B-8 and located directly north
of the Keystone Square Shopping Center and directly east of Schied Tire Company
in Carmel, IN. The proposed one-sided sign is 3 ft. 6 inches high. The actual
sign face is 12 ft x 2 ft.6 inches or 30 sq. ft. The sign is of sand-blasted
cedar construction with natural brown background with ivory painted lettering.
The sign is located south of the building in a planting strip between the
parking lot and access road. Landscaping will be per the Carmel Sign Ordinance.
No lighting is proposed.

Docket No. 77-86 ADLS, A Signage Application for Hewlett Packard, Inc. , located at
11911 N. Meridian Street, Carmel, Indiana. Petitioner requests second sign, an entrance
ground sign on the Pennsylvania Street side of the building. The sign is two-sided,
3 ft. by 9 ft. , 27 sq. ft. in size, per ordinance requirements. Site is 30 acres in
size, zoned B-6 and located in the U.S. 31 Corridor Overlay Zone.
