Specifications
1. All concrete to be 4,000 pound with fiber mesh minimum.
2. All paint to be porter paint. Exterior color to match existing color. Owner to select interior colors.
Three color scheme; ceiling, walls and trim.
3. Windows to be thermal pane Pella windows to match existing.
4. Ceiling to be textured ''/2" gypsum board on rafters at 16" o.c. with R19 and R30 insulation with
5/8" plywood decking with 15# felt paper and 25 year fiberglass shingles to match existing style and
color.
5. Color selections by owner.
6. Exterior wall to be '/2" drywall on 3'/2" wood studs at 16" o.c. with Rl 3 fibrous insulation between

General Notes
1. ALL EXTERIOR COLORS, FINISHES AND MATERIALS TO MATCH EXISTING HOME.
2. All subcontractor changes shall be run through the general contractor in writing with any associated
drawing, specification or costs prior to approval.
3. No deviation from these plans shall be made without direction from owner.
4. All concrete to be 4000 lb. minimum.
5. All soil to be disposed of on site.
6. Verify all exterior door types. Review glass with owner. Door allowance $1000.00 for both
exterior doors.
7. Provide sleeves through foundations as required by electrical and mechanical contractors.
8, Exterior stoops to be concrete with 7/11 rise and run. Provide treated wood handrails both sides.
9. Each trade is to provide clean up of material each day. General contractor will clean up if not done
by subcontractors each day at $20.00 per hour.
10. General Contractor shall provide visqueen barrier between existing house and construction area.
1 1. No material shall be stored in existing house without permission of the general contractor. General
contractor will coordinate with owner on locations.
12. Home owner to do all landscaping, seeding and final grade.
Demolition Plan Notes
I . Remove existing trim, soffit and gutters for attachment of new addition roof.

4. Existing brick to remain.
