GENERAL NOTES, TH15 SHEET:
1. Foundation wall dimerioiono are actual.
2. Exterior dimen5ion5 are to exterior face of foundation walls.
3. All wood Sill plates, trim boards, etc. in contact with concrete olabo, foundation walls, and
masonry Shall be preooure treated to prevent decay.
4. Provide required sleeves for new Sewer lines thru footingo.
5. Protect existing utilities.
6. Sand backfill at interior side of foundation walls is at the geotechnical
engineer's discretion.

1. 4" concrete slab w/42# w.w. mesh and 6 mil. vapor barrier over 6" granular
base over well compacted 5ubgrade.
2. Concrete foundation wall on 12" thick x 24" wide concrete footing with
(2) #5 bars. See detail 2/A4.1.
3. Thickened concrete slab over 24" wide x 12" thick concrete footing wl (2)
#5 baro. See Sheet A2.2 for bearing wall locations.
4. Perimeter foundation drain: 4" perforated 5chedule 30 PVC with fabric
wrap filter and gravel fill 18" above.
5. Elevator pit, verify interior dimensions and coordinate Sump pump pit
size and location with elevator manufacturer's requirements.
6. Column location above, no increase in wall thickneoo required.
7. 1'-2"x1'-8" concrete pier on 4'-O"x4'-O"x1'-0" thick concrete footing wl
(4) #5 baro each way, see 2/A2.1.
8. 1'-4"x1'-6" concrete pier on 3'-0"x3'-O"x1'-0" thick concrete footing wl
(3) #5 baro each way.
