(Found Harrison Marker) UTILITY PLAN NOTES 1. A. Private - Water mains are to be installed by the Con- tractor. Meter shall be provided by the Water Company. B. Public - Water mains are shown for reference only. Main water line to be installed by Indianapolis Water Company. Building connections to be made by building plumber. Water Company will tap existing main and set meter when plumber Is ready. 2. Underdralns shall be required 20 feet out of each inlet In the parking areas as shown. Underdrains shall be installed continuous along entire length of street along Inside curb line. 3. Conduit to be 4' PVC (Schedule 40) installed three (3) feet deep from final grade with ends capped and shall be back- filled with granular material. Contractor shall mark each terminal end with red painted 2"x 4" lumber extending from the invert of the conduit to a minimum of three (3) feet above the ground surface. Contractor shall coordinate with the respective utility company for location and depth of required conduits. 4. The Contractor shall contact INDIANA UNDERGROUND PLANT PROTECTION SERVICE INC., 1-800-382-5544, and all other utn- ity companies to locate all mains, conduits, service lines, ect. In the construction affected area. Existing utility structures are shown here in accordance with available infor- mation at the time of design. The location and protection of utility structures and facilities, their support and maint- enance during construction (in cooperation with applicable utility), is the express responsibility of the Contractor in the performance of the Contract and in the preparation of the bid. The Contractor shall notify the Engineer of any changes, errors or omissions found on these Plans or in the field be- fore work is started or resumed. 5. The Contractor will be required to provide as-bullt record drawings to the accepting agency to certify the elevation and slope of sanitary and storm sewers. Sewers Installed at a grade less than required by the agency will not be accepted. Contractor shall provide for periodic as -built checks on the sewer elevation during construction to assure that the design grade is being maintained. 11. All sanitary sewer manhole castings shall be Neenah R-1642 with self sealing lid do concealed pick holee and stampled "Sanitary Sewer". Approved equal cast - Ings will be allowed. 12. Easements are shown for reference only and do not necessarily depict actual recorded infor- mation. Refer to recorded Instruments for exact Information. 13. Building is to be served by minimum 6" dia. sanitary laterals. Laterals shall be Installed at a minimum slope of 0.61. 14. All points of connection of proposed sanitary and storm sewers to existing systems must be verified from a known benchmark vertically and horizontally before start of construction. Any conflict with the plans must be reported to the Engineer immediately. i5. All known utlity locations shown are approximate.
