On August 20, 1990, I forwarded a letter and drawings to you
relative to Thomson Consumer Electronics, Inc . 's application for
Development Plan and ADLS for the 30 acre parcel of real estate
located in Meridian at the Interstate (northwest corner of U.S.
31 and I-465 . Since that date, the plans have been revised to
reflect the changes set forth in the enclosed letter. Please
find enclosed a set of the revised plans for your review.

I understand that the Petitioner wishes to be included on the
agenda for the Plan Commission meeting for the October 16 , 1990
meeting. I have no problem with the Carmel Department of
Community Development issuing a docket number and placing this
project on the appropriate Commission agenda for formal review.

The attached drawings represent an addendum to the previously submitted drawings.
These changes were precipitated due to the relocation of 1 - structural bay from
the technical/research wing to the office wing side of the building. The basic
center point of the building at the rotunda did not shift in location on the
site. The following is a description of the changes shown on attached drawings.
Note that not all drawings are revised, but all are included for reference and
convenience in review.
Location Plan - No change
Site Development Plan (Drainage) :
1, Reflects building changes - remove one bay - tech. wing; add on bay -
office wing. Also dock and pond termination walls shifted accordingly.
2. Lengthening office wing to the south created need to skew the "roadway"
(between 103rd and the rotunda area) more to the west. This "skew"
changed the drainage areas, parking island layout, and storm drainage
structure locations in the "south" parking area. The drainage
calculations reflect these charges, and a refinement of the complete
storm drainage system.
3. Storm water routing in the "north" parking area was altered to lesson
the impact on the existing "green belt" along 106th.
4. Easement corrections to coordinate with Schneider Engineering drawings
Lighting Plan (no changes to light fixture - layout changes only) :
1. Layout changes to parking lot configuration in major parking lot on
west side of building.
2. Layout change to south loading dock.
3. North parking lot - layout changes were added on plans.

Planting Plan:
1. Same as Lighting Plan.
2. Same as Lighting Plan.
3. Trees relocated.
4. North parking lot - layout changes and additional trees were added on
plans.
Parking Plan:
1. Same as Site Development.
2. Lengthening office wing to the south created need to skew the "roadway"

changed the parking island shapes and arrangements along the "roadway. "
These changes required the total spaces provided to be revised to 1229.
3. Revised pavement material in dock area to concrete.
