• In this 15 -foot zone, grade out weeds and
unattractive brush (Decisions made in field by
Landscape Architect), leave all trees, shrub
masses, and attractive individual shrubs (Decisions
made in field by Landscape Architect). The area
shall then be "landscaped" with a random
arrangement of deciduous, evergreen, and
ornamental trees, underplanted with occasional
masses of shrubs in edged, mulched beds. A good
turf shall be established in this zone by adding
topsoil as needed, and then seeding or sodding to
the edge of the natural area.

• In this 30 -foot zone, grade to a maximum slope of
3:1. It is presumed that no trees or shrubs will
remain once grading is completed, although if there
are existing plant materials worth saving, every
attempt should be nade to do so, including adding
stone walls around the base of them. A good turf
shall be established n this zone by adding topsoil as
needed, and then sEeding or sodding to the edge of
the natural area. Add random plantings of
deciduous, evergreen, and ornamental trees,
underplanted with occasional masses of shrubs in
edged, mulched beds.
