Dear Jim,
We thank you for your continued support as a valued member of the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis(BAGI)since
07/-08!2004.We-also_appreciate-the-opportunity-and-pr vilege_ef-being-considered-an-important pari ofyour-Wmpany's business an�
success.
Enclosed is an invoice for your 2018 membership dues. You will note that there is a change from your 2017 dues with a$50
increase from the Indiana Builders Association(IBA). That increase will support the ongoing operations of the organization at the state
regulatory level.
The BAGI Board of Directors,volunteers and staff continue to stay focused on a targeted set of priorities that include
PROMOTE,EDUCATE&NETWORK. Those efforts include expanding our workforce development program introduced in 2017 to
help recruit young adults into the construction industry. Look for information in early 2018 as we introduce a"career assessment"website
that will provide information on industry careers and a direct connection to members'job openings.Please let us know if you would like to
be involved or have a contact with your local school for BAGI to introduce these programs in your area.
We have also introduced a new membership engagement app,"My BAGI",in 2017. If you haven't already downloaded the app,
you will be contacted directly in 2018 to help you learn more about this opportunity that allows you to personally tailor your involvement
in BAGI in ways that best suit your interests and needs.
Please note that on the invoice you have the opportunity to continue your membership with any of the councils that you or your
employees participate in. Please indicate your participation by checking the appropriate council box and add the council amount to your
total to continue your membership without interruption. If you aren't the person who participates,please check with your employees to
make sure they wish to continue the membership in the council(s).
Finally,we hope you will again choose to include a$50 HOME PAC contribution. These funds are crucial in BAGI's ability to
help elect candidates that understand that housing is a part of our region's economic health and vitality. BAGI has developed a brochure
that highlights the industry's issues and solutions to keep the housing market thriving. While this brochure can be viewed in the MY BAGI
app,it is also available at BAGI.com in the"Political Advocacy—Governmental Affairs"section. Please share this with your staff and
local elected officials(please let us know if you need additional copies). Everyone's efforts are necessary to help us shape regulations that
impact your bottom-line.
