ORDINANCE D-2392-17
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA,
AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS
FROM THE GENERAL FUND #101 TO THE BUILDING OPERATIONS FUND #1208
Synopsis: This ordinance authorizes and approves an additional appropriation of $220,000 from
the General Fund into the Building Operations Department Fund to be used for other contracted
services fees.
WHEREAS, the sum of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($220,000.00) is needed to
pay for other contracted services fees, Fund #1208-435-0900; and
WHEREAS, the General Fund, Fund #101 has excess funds in the amount of Two Hundred
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($220,000.00) in the operating balance to appropriate to fully cover these
expenses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel,
Indiana, that the following additional sum of money is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund
Operating Balance and for the purposes specified, subject to applicable laws, as follows:
$220,000.00 from the GENERAL FUND OPERATING, Fund #101 Balance
To
Building Operations Department — Other Contracted Services #1208, Line Item # 435-0900

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, execution
by the Common Council and the Mayor and such publication as is required by law.
