REFER TO GENERAL NOTES AND REFERENCE SPECIFICATIONS ON A0 SERIES SHEETS FOR SPECIFICATIONS REGARDING NEW CONSTRUCTION AND FINISHES. B. Dimensions are taken from the face of masonry walls, column centerlines, finish face of existing walls and/or stud face of new walls unless otherwise indicated. C. Verify all critical dimensions within and/or related to the exisitng building dimensions and conditions indicated by visual survey and/or information from existing drawings. D. Field verify all dimensions indicated as either +/- or V.I.F. (Verify in field). E. Refer to Finish Legend and finish plan for all required finish information. F. Painting/Staining A All metal doors to be painted PT1(semi-gloss finish), unless noted otherwise. B All painted metal door frames to be painted PT1 (semi-gloss finish), unless noted otherwise. C Refer to Door Schedule and Details Sheet for Door information. D Paint begins from wall edges and corners, unless otherwise noted. E Metal stair railings, risers, and stringers to be primed with appropriate primer and painted PT1 (semi-gloss finish), unless noted otherwise. 3. Furniture/Equipment A Verify all existing equipment and furniture sizes. B Existing furniture or equipment shown as dashed and/or not identified are not part of this work and are to be supplied and installed by the owner/tenant. 4. Flooring A All carpet shall be CP1, unless noted otherwise. B All VCT shall be RF1, unless noted otherwise. C All ceramic tile shall be CM1, unless noted otherwise. D If applicable, floors in toilet and bathing rooms shall have a smooth, hard, nonabsorbent surface that extends onto the adjacent wall surfaces at a minimum of 6" above finish floor. E Grout joints on floor tile to be 1/8" width, unless otherwise noted. Grout joints on wall tile to be 1/8" width unless otherwise noted. If manufacturers recommended installation instructions differ from this contractor to notify designer of condition. F Flooring contractor to submit floor seaming diagram to Architect/Designer for review and approval. G Sheet vinyl welding rods to be used on seams where two colors join. All other seams to be chemically bonded. Welding rod color for sheet vinyl is to match unless otherwise noted. 5. Ceilings/Walls A All walls shall be painted P1, unless noted otherwise. B All base shall be WB1, unless noted otherwise and is to be provided in rolled goods format. C All ceiling shall be CL1, unless noted otherwise. D All vertical faces of bulkheads to be painted standard ceiling white, unless otherwise noted. E All under side of bulkheads to be painted standard ceiling white, unless otherwise noted. F Gypsum board ceilings to be painted standard ceiling white, unless otherwise noted. G Existing typical ceiling height is _'-_".
