CEILING GRID AND TILE. FLOAT CLOUD WITH ALL-THREAD
INSTALLED 15" FROM EDGES. PAINT ALL THREAD SAME COLOR AS
CEILING DECK. INSTALL MINIMAL QUANTITY OF ALL-THREAD
SUPPORTS AS POSSIBLE. DESIGN INTENT IS TO MAKE ALL -THREAD
SUPPORTS AS VISUALLY UNOBTRUSIVE AS POSSIBLE. LOCATE FLEX
DUCT TO NEW DIFFUSERS SUCH THAT THEY ARE NOT VISIBLE FROM
GROUND LEVEL.
NOTE THAT SPRINKLERS MAY BE REQUIRED ABOVE AND BELOW
CLOUD. FIRE SPRINKLER CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE SUBMITTAL OF
FINAL LAY-OUT FOR FINAL APPROVAL PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
PROVIDE DRYWALL BULKHEAD AT THIS LOCATION, BOTTOM TO BE
7'-1" AFF. FACE OF BULKHEAD TO EXTEND TO DECK AND TO BE
PAINTED SAME AS ADJACENT WALL. ALIGN EDGE OF BULKHEAD
WITH ADJACENT WALL AS SHOWN ON THE PLAN. HORIZONTAL
PLANE OF BULKHEAD TO BE PAINTED BRIGHT CEILING WHITE, FLAT
FINISH.
REMOVE AS MUCH OF THE EXPOSED CONDUIT, PIPING, JUNCTION
BOXES AND MISCELLANEOUS UNUSED EQUIPMENT AS POSSIBLE.
REPAIR THE EXISTING DUCT INSULATION WRAP SUCH THAT NO
TORN OR DAMAGED INSULATION IS VISIBLE (IF APPLICABLE.)
CLEAN AND PREPARE FOR DRYFALL PAINT "PT4." AS SPECIFIED,
PAINT EXISTING EXPOSED CEILING DECK, EXPOSED DUCTWORK,
SPRINKLER PIPING, JUNCTION BOXES, CONDUIT, STRUCTURAL
BEAMS AND FIREPROOFING IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 13 6.3.8.
REMOVE LOW PRESSURE SUPPLY BRANCH LINE DUCT AND
REPLACE WITH NEW RIGID SPIRAL DUCT AND RECTANGULAR
SUPPLY DIFFUSERS. REFERENCE SHEET A131 FOR FURTHER DETAIL.
IF NEW GRID IS REQUIRED IN THIS AREA, PROVIDE BUILDING
STANDARD CEILING GRID AND TILE TO MATCH EXISTING

STANDARDS. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
COMPLIANT INSTALLATION. IF ADJUSTMENT IS REQUIRED TO
MEET ASHRAE 90.1, CONTRACTOR MUST NOTIFY SDI. OVER
50% OF THE LIGHTING WILL BE REPLACED WITH NEW, SO

5. IF PROJECT CRITERIA REQUIRES ALL NEW SWITCHES TO BE
OCCUPANCY SENSORS, PROVIDE COMBO UNIT WITH BOTH
ULTRASONIC AND INFRARED TECHNOLOGY WITH A ONE
BUTTON OVERRIDE. OCCUPANCY SENSORS ARE TO BE
LOCATED SUCH THAT OCCUPANCY WITHIN ANY PORTION OF
INCLUDED AREA IS DETECTED. PROVIDE CEILING MOUNTED
OCCUPANCY SENSORS IN OPEN AREAS AS REQUIRED, OR
RELAY TIME CLOCK CONTROLS (COORDINATE WITH SDI).
EXISTING SWITCHES TO BE CONVERTED IF REQUIRED BY CODE.
