A. NOTHING SET FORTH IN THESE DRAWINGS SHALL RELEASE THE
CONTRACTOR FROM ITS RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE
QUANTITIES, FIELD MEASUREMENTS, DIMENSIONAL STABILITY,
INSTALLATION, ANCHORAGE, AND COORDINATION WITH ALL OTHER
SUBCONTRACTORS AND TRADES, OR RELEASE THE CONTRACTOR OF
RESPONSIBILITY TO IDENTIFY AND RESOLVE DEVIATIONS FROM THE

DISCREPANCY DISCOVERED SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION
OF THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF ANY WORK
AFFECTED BY, OR RELATED TO, SUCH DISCREPANCY. THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED

"CLEAR", OR "MIN." COORDINATE WITH APPLICABLE NEW WALL TYPES

ACCESSORIES, MARKER BOARDS, TACK BOARDS, DOOR HARDWARE
ACCESSORIES, ETC., AS APPLICABLE.
F. ALL NEW OR EXISTING FLOOR AREAS THAT REQUIRE LEVELING WITH
A CONCRETE TOPPING OR LEVELING COMPOUND SHALL BE
INSTALLED SUCH THAT THE FLATNESS EQUALS 35/24 (ON ALL SLABS)
AND THE LEVELNESS EQUALS (SLAB ON GRADE) AND 80% OF THAT
VALUE ON ELEVATED SLABS.
G. AT ALL AREAS WHERE EXISTING FLOOR COVERING OR WALL
COVERING MATERIAL WAS REMOVED, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
PROPERLY PREPARE THE SURFACE TO RECEIVE NEW FINISHES.
H. CONTRACTOR SHALL ENSURE THAT ANY AND ALL BACKBOXES
LOCATED WITHIN 'PARTY WALLS' THAT SEPARATE ROOMS ARE NOT
LOCATED BACK TO BACK OR IN THE SAME CAVITY. STAGGER BOXES
ONE STUD CAVITY EITHER SIDE OF ONE ANOTHER.

GENERAL SCOPE:
THE HVAC, ELECTICAL/VOICE/DATA AND PLUMBING DRAWINGS ARE SCHEMATIC IN NATURE AND SERVE ONLY TO
CONVEY THE "INTENT" OF THE TENANT'S REQUIREMENTS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DESIGN/BUILD
CONTRACTORS TO FULLY ENGINEER THESE SYSTEMS. SEALED DRAWINGS ARE NOT REQUIRED UNLESS STATED
OTHERWISE. DRAWINGS SHALL BE PREPARED AS SHOP DRAWINGS AND SUBMITTED TO THE ARCHITECT FOR
APPROVAL.
CONTRACTORS SHALL FURNISH AND INSTALL ALL NECESSARY WORK AND COMPONENTS IN COMPLETE COMPLIANCE
WITH ALL CURRENT FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL CODES AND ORDINANCES. CONTRACTORS TO SUBMIT ALL FINAL
HVAC DRAWINGS TO LANDLORD AND OWNER FOR REVIEW AND MUST RECEIVE FINAL APPROVAL FROM BOTH PARTIES
PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
DESIGN/BUILD SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL REVIEW BUILDING SYSTEM SCOPE DOCUMENTS AND OFFER ANY
MODIFICATIONS THAT MAY BE APPROPRIATE FOR COMPLETE AND OPERABLE SYSTEMS.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS:
THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH THE TENANT'S VENDORS IN REGARDS TO THE
AUDIO/VISUAL SYSTEMS, SECURITY SYSTEMS, AND IT SYSTEMS.
THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH THE BASE BUILDING OWNER AS TO THE ADEQUACY OF
THE EXISTING ELECTRICAL SERVICE AND MODIFICATIONS WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED TO ACCOMMODATE THIS
TENANT.
THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PERMANENTLY LABEL ALL ELECTRICAL PANELS AND CIRCUITS.
THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY LOCATION OF ALL ELECTRICAL OUTLETS THAT ARE DEDICATED.
REFER TO TYPICAL MOUNTING HEIGHTS SHEET FOR DEVICE MOUNTING HEIGHTS.
PROVIDE AND INSTALL ROUGH-INS AS REQUIRED FOR AUDIO/VISUAL, SECURITY SYSTEMS, AND IT SYSTEMS.
AUDIO VISUAL SYSTEMS:
THE PROJECT MANAGER IS TO PROVIDE AND COORDINATE ALL AV VENDORS WITH THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR
FOR ALL AUDIO VISUAL, SECURITY ITEMS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: TELEVISION JACKS, SPEAKERS, AUDIO
SOURCES, NURSE CALL DEVICES, AND ELECTRIC DOOR HARDWARE.

GENERAL SCOPE:
THE HVAC, ELECTICAL/VOICE/DATA AND PLUMBING DRAWINGS ARE SCHEMATIC IN NATURE AND SERVE ONLY TO
CONVEY THE "INTENT" OF THE TENANT'S REQUIREMENTS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DESIGN/BUILD
CONTRACTORS TO FULLY ENGINEER THESE SYSTEMS. SEALED DRAWINGS ARE NOT REQUIRED UNLESS STATED
OTHERWISE. DRAWINGS SHALL BE PREPARED AS SHOP DRAWINGS AND SUBMITTED TO THE ARCHITECT FOR

• THE HVAC CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY WITH THE TENANT HOW THE SYSTEM IS TO BE "ZONED" AND IDENTIFY THE
LOCATION OF ALL THERMOSTATS.
• IN EXISTING SPACES BEING FULLY OR PARTIALLY DEMOLISHED, ALL HVAC SUPPLY AND RETURN DIFFUSERS SHALL
BE NEW.
• PROVIDE "SOUND BOOTS" IN ALL RETURN AIR GRILLES IN ALL AREAS.
• ALL HVAC DIFFUSERS, THERMOSTATS, GRILLES, AND EXHAUST FANS TO MATCH BUILDING STANDARD.
• REFER TO TYPICAL MOUNTING HEIGHTS SHEET FOR THERMOSTAT MOUNTING HEIGHTS.
• THE HVAC CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH THE ELECTICAL CONTRACTOR IN REGARDS TO ELECTRICAL
ROUGH-IN NECESSARY TO POWER HVAC SYSTEMS OR DEVICES.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS:
• THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH THE TENANT'S VENDORS IN REGARDS TO THE
AUDIO/VISUAL SYSTEMS, SECURITY SYSTEMS, AND IT SYSTEMS.
• THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH THE BASE BUILDING OWNER AS TO THE ADEQUACY OF
THE EXISTING ELECTRICAL SERVICE AND MODIFICATIONS WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED TO ACCOMMODATE THIS
TENANT.
• THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PERMANENTLY LABEL ALL ELECTRICAL PANELS AND CIRCUITS.
• THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY LOCATION OF ALL ELECTRICAL OUTLETS THAT ARE DEDICATED.

• ALL FIXTURES TO BE WHITE. ALL EXPOSED PIPING AND SUPPLY FITTINGS SHALL BE CHROMIUM PLATED. ALL
PIPING WALL PENETRATIONS SHALL HAVE CHROMIUM PLATED ESCUTCHEONS.
• ALL PIPING SHOWN ON PLUMBING DRAWINGS IS DIAGRAMATIC. FIELD VERIFY FOR EXACT ROUTING.
• ACCESSIBLE PLUMBING FIXTURES SHALL COMPLY WITH ADA.
• AFTER COMPLETION OF THE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM ROUGH-IN AND BEFORE THE FIXTURES HAVE BEEN SET, THE
