GENERAL NOTES:
1. ALL WORK iS TO B= COMPLETED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE
WITH ALL APPLICABLE CODES, ORDINANCES, RULES,
REGULATIONS, AND STANDARDS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
THE INDIANA BUILDING CODE, THE INDIANA HANDICAPPED
CODE, THE INDIANA PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICAL
CODES, THE INDIANA FIRE CODE, THE AMERICANS WITH
DIjABILITIES ACT (ADA), AND APPLICABLE TRADE

GENERAL NOTES:
I. ALL WORK IS TO BE COMPLETED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE
WITH ALL APPLICABLE CODES, ORDINANCES, RULES,
REGULATIONS, AND STANDARDS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
THE INDIANA BUILDING CODE, THE INDIANA HANDICAPPED
CODE, THE INDIANA PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICAL
CODES, THE INDIANA FIRE CODE, THE AMERICANS WITH
DISABILITIES ACT (ADA), AND APPLICABLE TRADE
STANDARDS. ALL APPLICABLE RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE
TO BE THE MOST CURRENT ADOPTED EDITION.
2. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FIELD VERIFYING ALL
CONDITIONS AND DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO START OF WORK-
REPORT
ORKREPORT ANY DISCREPANCIES TO THE ARCHITECT/DESIGNER
IMMEDIATELY.
3. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING ALL STATE
AND LOCAL PERMITS REQUIRED FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE
PROJECT.
4. ALL WORK IS TO BE COORDINATED BY THE GENEFZAL
CONTRACTOR TO ASSURE ADEQUATE FIT, FINISH, SYSTEM
OPERATION, AND FULL COMPLETION OF THE WORK, INCLUDING
SERVICE REQUIREMENTS OF THE OWNER'S FIXTURES,
FURNISHINGS, AND EQUIPMENT.
B. UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE, ALL DIMENSIONS ARE TO THE
FINISHED FACE OF WALLS.
6. ALL DIMENSIONS REQUIRED ARE SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS.
ANY DIMENSIONS NOT SHOWN OR DEEMED QUESTIONABLE ARE
TO BE VERIFIED WITH THE ARCHITECT/DESIGNER. DO NOT
SCALE DIMENSIONS.
"I. FINISHED DOOR OPENINGS IN ALL NEW PARTITIONS SHALL BE
SET TO ALLOW FULL TRIM EXPOSURE (4' MIN.) FROM ADJACENT
PERPENDICULAR PARTITION, UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
8. PROVIDE BLOCKING IN WALLS TO ACCOMMODATE ALL
CASEWORK AND WALL MOUNTED EQUIPMENT.
9. ALL FIRE EXTINGUISHER CABINET LOCATIONS ARE TO BE
COORDINATED WITH THE ARCHITECT/DESIGNER AND LOCAL FIRE
OFFICIALS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
ELECTRICAL NOTES:
1. ALL MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP SHALL MEET ALL
APPLICABLE STATE AND LOCAL CODES, ORDINANCES, UTILITY
COMPANY REGULATIONS, AND NATIONALLY ACCEPTED CODES
AND STANDARDS.
2. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE SPECIAL
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS OF TENANTS AS
SPECIFICALLY INDICATED ON DRAWINGS. VERIFY ACTUAL
REQUIREMENTS WITH ARCHITECT/DESIGNER PRIOR TO
INSTALLATION.
3. ALL WIRE AND GABLE SHALL BE 989. CONDUCTIVITY
COPPER, UNLESS OTHERWISE REQUIRED.
4. ALL CONDUCTORS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN CONDUIT.
5. ALL OUTLET BOXES ARE TO BE SHERADIZED STEEL WITH
PATTERNS AS REQUIRED.
6. ALL WIRING DEVICES TO BE SPECIFICATION GRADE BY
ARROli.HART, HUBBELL, PASS E SEYMOUR, OR SIERRA.
1. ALL DUPLEX RECEPTACLES ARE TO BE 20a. RATED WITH 'U'
SHAPED GROUNDING SLOT.
8. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE MUD RING AND PULL STRING AT
TELEPHONE AND COMPUTER LOCATIONS AS INDICATED ON
PLANS. COMPLETE TELEPHONE AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS
(MATERIAL AND LABOR) ARE PROVIDED BY TENANT UNLESS
OTHERWISE INDICATED.
9. ALIGN ALL THERMOSTATS VERTICALLY ABOVE SWITCHES AT
60' AFF. COORDINATE WITH MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR IF A
THERMOSTAT IS NEEDED WHERE A SWITCH DOES NOT OCCUR,
COORDINATE LOCATION WITH TENANT.
10. ALL WALL MOUNTED OUTLETS ARE TO BE MOUNTED AT 18'
AFF. TO CENTERLINE OF OUTLET, UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
I1. SWITCH PLATES, MONUMENTS, AND ELECTRICAL COVER
PLATES (INCLUDING DATA/TELEPHONE) SHALL COLOR
COORDINATE WITH FINAL FINISHES. USE BROWN ON WOOD OR
DARK FINISH WALLS, WHITE ON WHITE WALLS, IVORY ON ALL
OTHERS. VERIFY COLOR WITH TENANT.
12, BACK TO BACK OUTLETS SHALL BE STAGGERED WITH A
STUD SEPARATING THEM.
13. ADJACENT OUTLETS SHALL BE GANGED WHEN POSSIBLE. IF
THEY CANNOT BE GANGED, THEY SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH A
MINIMUM DISTANCE BETWEEN UNITS.
14. PROVIDE EMERGENCY STROBES AND HORNS AS REQUIRED
BY STATE AND LOCAL BUILDING CODES.
15. CONTRACTOR IS TO COORDINATE PLACEMENT OF EXIT
LIGHTS WITH ENGINEER, FIRE OFFICIAL, AND
ARCHITECT/DESIGNER ALL EXIT LIGHTING TO BE BUILDING
STANDARD.
