General Plan Notes
THESE NOTES APPLY TO ALL CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS,
AND TO ALL CONTRACTORS AND/OR SUB -CONTRACTORS
THAT WORK WITHIN THIS BUILDING.
1. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CONSTRUCTION REQUIRED FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF NEW MATERIALS, WETHER OR NOT IT IS SPECIFICALLY SHOWN
OR NOTED IN THESE DOCUMENTS.
2. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL NECESSARY BLOCKING FOR
ALL TRADES. COORDINATE WITH ALL, INCLUDING BANK EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED BY OTHERS.
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY PERMITS AND FEES REQUIRED TO
COMPLETE THE PROJECT.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS AND CONDITIONS RELATIVE TO THE PROJECT
AS ILLUSTRATED. ANY CONFLICTS OR DISCREPANCIES SHALL BE REPORTED TO THE ARCHITECT
IMMEDIATELY FOR RESOLUTION.
5. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE ALL WORK WITH EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER TO ENSURE
APPROPRIATE ROUGH -IN CLEARANCE FOR EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION AND USE.
6. WHERE MOUNTING HEIGHTS ARE NOT INDICATED, MOUNT INDIVIDUAL UNITS OF WORK AT
RECOMMENDED STANDARD HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY HEIGHTS FOR THE PARTICULAR WORK
INDICATED. REFER QUESTIONABLE MOUNTIING HEIGHT TO THE ARCHITECT FOR A FINAL DECISION.
7. DO NOT SCALE DRAWING.
8. CONTRACTOR SHALL LAYOUT AND MARK ALL WALLS AND OPENINGS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
ANY DISCREPANCY SHALL BE REPORTED TO THE ARCHITECT FOR IMMEDIATE RESOLUTION.
9. REFERENCE RELATED ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, AND PLUMBING DOCUMENTS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION.
10. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE LOCATIONS AND SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR MECHANICAL,
ELECTRICAL, AND PLUMBING ROUGH -INS.
11. ALL SUB -CONTRACTORS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR VISITING THE CONSTRUCTION SITE TO BECOME
FAMILIAR WITH ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS WHICH AFFECT THAT SPECIFIC PORTION OF THEIR WORK.
ANY CONFLICTS OR APPARENT DEFICIENCIES MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE ARCHITECT IN WRITING
PRIOR TO BIDDING.
12. SMOKING SHALL BE PROHIBITED IN THE BUILDING.
13. DEVELOP AND ENFORCE STORAGE, HOUSEKEEPING AND DEBRIS REMOVAL PROCEDURES THAT REDUCE
THE FLAMMABLE AND COMBUSTIBLE FIRE LOAD TO THE LOWEST LEVEL NECESSAARY FOR DAILY OPERATIONS.
14. IOSHA REQUIRES MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS (MSDS) FOR ALL MATERIALS BEING USED OR STORED
ON THIS PROJECT, BE MADE AVAILABLE TO ALL WORKERS ON THISJOB SITE.
15. SECURE ALL TOOLS AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS DURING BREAKS AND NON -CONSTRUCTION HOURS.
16. ALL CONSTRUCTION AREAS, REMOVAL TRAFFIC PATTERN AREAS AND ASSOCIATED WORK AREAS SHALL
BE KEPT CLEAN OF DEBRIS BY THE CONTRACTORS DAILY.
17. GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SEALING ALL BANK EQUIPMENT INSTALLEDIN WALLS OR CEILINGS.
