CROUSE -HINDS COMPANY .. Crouse-Hlnas WAL Luminaire offers low glare, cutoff illumination. Conventional wall mounted luminaire WAL may also be pole mounted. WAL The WAL has been designed to serve as an integral part of any area. Its clean, architecturally styled appearance and application flexibility lend an exciting dimension to an ordinarily routine function. The WAL provides efficient illumination for walkways, courtyards, entrances, building security and loading areas, tunnels, underpasses and bridges. The WAL has a rugged die cast aluminum base housing with integrally die cast lampholder mounting and bosses to positively locate the reflector for repeatable photometric performance. The cover is a one piece, clear, UV stabilized polycarbonate which is vandal resistant. No unsightly, inefficient auxiliary vandal shields or guards are required. The cover is further treated inside and outside with a proprietary coating to totally eliminate the effects of UV on color and transmission within normal periods of use. The WAL offers a choice of optical systems, both utilizing an Alzak® aluminum reflector, which provide controlled and efficient illumination. A clear lens model offers low glare, cut off illumination in front of the fixture for areas where light control is necessary. The lens is designed for maximum light output to the sides of the fixture. A prismatic lens model is available for areas where higher overall light distribution to the front and sides of the fixture is required. The WAL is U.L. listed suitable for outdoor wet locations.
