SUMMARY OF LATERAL INSTALIATION REOIJIFEMENTS
1. All houses. buildings, etc., shall connect to the Disbrices sanitary sew system ifftin 90 days of notice proviching a sewer
is within 3DO feet for Hamilton County or 100 feet far Boone County of the property tine. Drily one building may connect to
the sewer main per lateral unless otherwise, approved by the District
2. No foundation, sump, downspouts or other storm water drains shall be interconnected to District's sanitary sewer as addressed
through I� Ordinance 1ZO8,08 and I/l Policy found at www.ctrwd.org.
3. The eiristing sew line from the building to the septic tank may only be used if it is located under a building addition, patio,
porch or paved driveway. Air tee is reWined to show if acceptable for re -um The property owner shoill bear the cost of
oil testing. The District inspector must be onside for the duration of the air test
4. The owner or contractor shall notify the District prior to covering the installed lateral so that the District can make an
inspection to determine compliance With the District's sew use ordinance. Lateral stubs shall remain capped until an inspector is on
site. Find connection shall only be made under direct supervision of a C7TRWD inspector. Such notification shall be made 24 hours
prior to the need for the inspection. If the inspection falls and a second inspection is required, or contractor is not on site
for scheduled inspection, or fails to c(incel inspection, an additional fee of 1100.00 will be due. This must be pdd prior to
the time of the fdlow up inspection.

5. Property owners are hereby advised that the County Board of Heab regulates n aintenance of private
sewage disposal (septic) systems. The County Whance provides in part that upon connection to a public sewer, a
septic tank "...shall be abandoned (pumped dean) and filled with earthen material in a safe and sanitary manner.* Please contact the
