1. PRESSURE INDEPENDENCE. A DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR SHALL MEASURE THE PRIMARY AIRFLOW ENTERING THE UNIT AND THE
DAMPER SHALL BE MODULATED ACCORDINGLY SO THAT THE AIRFLOW DELIVERED IS INDEPENDENT OF FLUCTUATIONS IN SUPPLY DUCT
SYSTEM STATIC PRESSURE.
2. TERMINAL UNIT ROOM TEMPERATURE CONTROL. ON A RISE IN ROOM TEMPERATURE ABOVE COOLING SETPOINT, THE DAMPER SHALL
MODULATE OPEN. AS SPACE TEMPERATURE DROPS BELOW THE COOLING SETPOINT, THE' DAMPER SHALL MODULATE CLOSED TO
MAINTAIN ITS MINIMUM AIRFLOW. WHEN SPACE TEMPERATURE FALLS BELOW SETPOINT, THE ELECTRIC HEATING COIL SHALL BE
ENERGIZED. WHEN THERMOSTAT IS SATISFIED THE ELECTRIC HEATING COIL SHALL BE DE -ENERGIZED.
3. RADIANT PANEL ROOM TEMPERATURE CONTROL. ON A RISE IN ROOM TEMPERATURE ABOVE SETPOINT THE LINE VOLTAGE THERMOSTAT
SHALL DE -ENERGIZE THE HEATING COIL. AS SPACE TEMPERATURE DROPS BELOW SETPOINT, THE HEATING COIL SHALL BE
ENERGIZED. RADIANT PANELS SHALL LOCKED -OUT WHEN OUTDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE IS ABOVE 50-F (ADJ.) AND/OR BETWEEN THE
MONTHS OF MAY THROUGH OCTOBER (ADJ.)
4. THERMOSTAT. EACH TERMINAL UNIT SHALL HAVE AN ASSOCIATED THERMOSTAT IN THE AREA SERVED, LOCATED AS
SHOWN ON HVAC DUCT DRAWING. THE OCCUPANT SHALL BE ABLE TO SET THE ROOM TEMPERATURE SETPOINT AT
THE THERMOSTAT OVER A LIMITED RANGE.
