Indiana, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 2. pages 164-165 and amended in Miscellaneous Record BooK 58 at pages 137-138. in the office of the Recorder of Hamilton County. Indiana. The purpose of this plat is for obtaining a building permit. and is not intended or represented to be a land or property survey. No monuments were set. Do not use for establishing fence lines or property lines. No responsibility is extended herein to the land owner or occupant I, the undersigned, duly licensced professional engineer, do hereby certify that the existing and proposed elevations shown were established under my supervision. and in my opinion. if the finished grades are constructed as shown. the surface drainage will be satisfactory for residential drainage Construction Sequence: In the building of a house, the sequence of activities is one of the easiest ways to reduce erosion The following steps are recommended: 1. Construct a ravel drive. 2. Confine all travel to the grovel drive. 3. Preserve as much of the existing vegetation as possible. 4. If there are large exposed areas or near slopes a silt fence may be required. 5. After the foundation is constructed. rough grade and seed the lot. 6. After gutters are installed. use temporary extensions to let water pass exposed areas. 7. After final grading seed or sod the yard as soon as possible 8. After the yard is re -vegetated, remove all temporary erosion control measures. 9. See plot plan for location of erosion control mesures. Perimeter Controls: Maintaining a strip of gross around the perimeter of a building lot is the most cost-effective method of reducing erosion. The gross strip acts as a filter to trap sediments before they leave the lot. Other types of erosion control will be necessary if a grass filter strip is not maintained. A silt fence, straw bales and erosion control blankets each have strengths and weaknesses. Consult manufacturer recommendations on usage and mointenance before deciding on any particular erosion control measure. ADDRESS 10510 WASHINGTON BLVD.
