AF0001, 10-16-13, Rev.3 Page 1 of 1 Weather: Sunny, high 60’s 1.Earth Exploration, Inc. (EEI) was on site at the request of Ron Hueston with Gibraltar Construction to perform field concrete testing. This work was performed for the slab on grade at the south west side parking lot connection. The contractor placed approximately 9.5 cubic yards of IMI concrete, mix design number 4031CC, to construct the slab on grade. EEI performed field concrete testing including, slump (4.5”), air entrainment (5.9%), and temperature (83º). In addition, one set of four compressive strength specimens were cast to represent placement. 2.EEI also observed the grading contractor start on the drainage system in the park area. The contractor excavated for the pipe installation, placed the corrugated drain pipe with sleeve as required, and then backfilled the trench with #8 stone as required. The stone was vibrated in place to compact the material. All of the installation process appeared to meet or exceed the project requirements as outlined in the approved project drawings. No further work was performed today.
