AF0001, 10-16-13, Rev.3 Page 1 of 1 Weather: Cloudy, low 60’s 1.Earth Exploration, Inc. (EEI) was on site at the request of Bill with Gibraltar Construction to perform field density testing on the subbase stone for the remainder of the parking lot and main entrance road. The stone contractor placed the #53 stone in a 6” lift and compacted the material with a vibratory smooth drum roller. EEI performed field density testing of the stone and the locations and elevations tested met or exceeded the project requirements for density. EEI also performed a proofroll by observing the triaxle trucks as they were driving on the parking lot and main entrance road subbase layer. The grade appeared to be firm and solid with no signs of pumping or rutting. It was determined that the subbase was suitable for asphalt placement. See Daily Field Density Report for individual density testing results. No further work was performed today.
