APPENDIX 1 INTRODUCTION The proposed project is the development of a 9.51 acres out of a parcel that is 14.08 acres tract of land located at 4281 West 106th Street, Carmel,Hamilton County, Indiana. The property is a residential site. The site has a current home on it with several outbuildings,paved driveways, and swimming pool. The site has several easements crossing for different gas lines. II. EXISTING DRAINAGE CONDITIONS The existing site does not have any form of detention. The site has a current open drain bisecting the property from north to south. This is a legal drain. The site currently drains towards this open ditch. III. PROPOSED CONDITIONS The objective is to construct an additional 22 residential lots and 7 lots being setup for multi-unit townhomes/condominium. The site will include storm water design, sanitary sewer design, street layout and grading, and other necessary utilities for site development. IV. SUMMARY &RESULTS The storm sewer pipes are designed for the 10-year storm event and HydraStorm Sewers were used in determine the storm sewer pipe sizes and grades for the site. The analysis for the detention facility was done by using HydroCAD. The results are listed in the appendix. The results for the 2, 10, 25,and 100 year storm events are listed below.
