My name is Sabine Hopkins, I live in Crooked Stick on Preston Trail.
I am writing this in regards to the project purposed on the land at 106th and Ditch.
I and the majority of my neighbors are opposed to this project!
Safety, traffic flow and volume are some of my biggest concerns.
An entrance or exit on to Crooked Stick Lane would be a hazard. If you go down
Crooked Stick Lane to106th there is a blind curve. Adding a road would make it
moe dangerous.
On 106th there is a substantial hill. An entrance there would be an increased
hazard.
On Ditch the purposed entrance is extremely close to the roundabout and again
would be a hazard.
If youhave ever driven 106th and Ditch during morning or evening rush hour,
traffic is already a quagmire. Increased car volume by 36 homes with multiple
cars will only add to an already difficult situation.
Mr. Tom Kegley stated at the Nov.20th meeting"the city running out of vacant
land". This is NOT downtown Carmel and "the city" does not own this property.
One added note. Mr. M Browning no longer lives in Crooked Stick. Mr. J.James
lives on Prestwick Lane which is north of this project and would not effect him
directly as it would neighbors adjacent to the purposed project.
Thankyou for your time,
Sabine Hopkins
