1. This item will be on the Wednesday, November 21, 2018 meeting agenda of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC),
which begins at 9:00 AM. Petitioner, please have a representative attend this meeting. If not done so already, please
submit plans to all TAC members ASAP, via email and/or mail. Please refer to the revised TAC members list at this
link.
2. Mailed and Published Public Notice needs to occur no later than Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Due to the site’s
location, published notice (legal ad) is required within The Current in Zionsville.
a. Please contact The Current at least 11 days prior to the public notice deadline, in order for them to publish
your legal ad on time (317-489-4444 or legals@youarecurrent.com).
b. The placement of a notice of public hearing sign on the property is required.
c. First class mailings (with Certificate of Mailing) to all adjoiners is required. Contact the Hamilton County
Transfer and Mapping Office for the list of adjoining properties.
d. Make sure the public notice meeting time to the newspaper, public notice sign, and letters to neighbors reads

6:00 PM and that the location reads Carmel City Hall Council Chambers, 1 Civic Square, 2 Floor, Carmel, IN
46032.
3. The Filing Fee and 9 Informational Packets must be delivered to Plan Commission Secretary Joe Shestak no later than
Noon, Friday, December 7, 2018. Checks can be made out to The City of Carmel.

4. Proof of Notice (Certificates of Mailing, newspaper affidavit, etc.) needs to be received by this Department no later
than Noon, Thursday, December 13, 2018. Failure to submit Proof of Notice by this time will result in the tabling of
the petition.
5. This item will appear on the Tuesday, December 18, 2018 meeting agenda of the Plan Commission (under “Public
Hearings”), which begins at 6 PM in the Council Chambers of City Hall. (A representative must be present.)
6. This item will also appear on the Thursday, January 3, 2019 meeting agenda of a Plan Commission Sub-Committee,
which begins at 6 PM in the Caucus Rooms of City Hall. (A representative must be present.)
7. Please refer to the application/checklist for more detail.
8. Review comments from the Planning/Zoning Dept. will be issued soon.
