Angie,
We already have one completed variance form from Jin, but it is for the wrong section of the VOWC PUD. Can we just
change its intent or does he need to file a new document?

Hi, Nathan.
Greg is working on the drawing right now. I will forward it to you as soon as I get it.
Do you need two variance forms - one for#of signs and another one for size of sign area? Or should list two
things on one form?
I will also attach notarized Owner's Affidavit and adjacent owner's list certified by Hamilton County Auditor's
Office when I email you a new drawing.
Thank you again and have a great weekend.

Hi, Nathan.
Thank you very much for your reply. Please see attached new proof. Now it is about 60 square feet. We would like
to have these signs on the north elevation and the east elevation.
Nathan, in order to meet the next hearing in January, what would you need from us? Should I fill out new clean
variance form and permit form to submit?
Greg will send me a new drawing tomorrow.
I really appreciate your help on this matter.
Have a wonderful day.
Sincerely,
Jin

Good morning,Jin—
It might be better if you can try to fill them out to the best of your ability and then email them to Nathan and me
(along with any additional questions you might have). Then, he and I can take a look, and let you know where you
need to make changes. Does that work for you?

Dear Sir or Madam,
On behalf of the Peripheral Retail Area review board, I am writing to confirm that the board
supports a signage variance for the Master Yoo's Tae Kwon Do building currently under
construction on Harleston Street. The initial signage submittal showed 28" tall letters, which is
within the guidelines, but this created a signage area greater then the allowable 45 sq. ft. If the
signage regulations were enforced, the letter size would have to be reduced to 12" or less, which
the board believes is much too small for the overall scale of the building.
Therefore, the review board is proposing a compromise. They are supporting the use of 24"
letters, slightly smaller than the 28" maximum allowed. This would still create a signage area
greater than 45 sq. ft., but not look completely out of scale for the building.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me:
