A Message from Mayor Jim Brainard:
As Honorary Chair of the Third Annual Carmel Gala,Design Bright Futures, benefiting
the Carmel Youth Assistance Program, I ask for your support by partnering with us for
this event to help raise money and awareness to support the next generation in our
community. The Carmel Gala will take place at the 502 East Event Centre on Saturday,
April 13,2019.
We are committed to building a community that supports our children through education,
the arts, health and well-being, and we strive to develop a community that our children will
be proud to return to when they are ready to work or raise a family. Despite all of our
current actions., we can do more to reach our children who are at risk of falling through the
cracks of society, which is where the Carmel Youth Assistance Program enters and
excels.
The Carmel Youth Assistance Program strives to build a healthy community for
tomorrow by investing in the youth of today. Its goal is to reach children right here in
Carmel through family assistance, tutoring and mentoring programs. Providing services to
family and youth to enrich their lives is the mission of the Carmel Youth Assistance
Program and the mission is essential to the success and development of our city.
Last year's Gala was extremely successful as the community came together to raise money
and awareness for the Carmel Youth Assistance Program, and the City of Carmel is
proud to once again support this program for the youth and families in our
community. Please join me in celebrating and supporting the Third Annual Carmel Gala,
