Dear Mr. Nicholls:
Included with this letter is a check in the amount of$19,300 from the City.of Carmel to the
Heroes Club. The purpose of this donation is to provide adequate funding in the Heroes Club
treasury to pay the 2019 insurance premiums on a$250,000 policy for first responders in
Carmel; This is an increase over the current policy of$15.0,000.
I want to thank you for your leadership of the Heroes Club and the important mission it serves to
provide for our first responder families in the event of a catastrophic loss. I also want to
encourage you to continuously review the policy to ensure it remains up to date and relevant. As
we have discussed, I know that you are actively pursuing additional donor sources in the
community. Please keep us up to date as this effort matures.
