MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL NOTES I. THE MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING SCOPES OF WORK ARE LIMITED TO BASIC DESIGN -BUILD ALTERATIONS WHICH ARE OUTLINED IN THESE PLANS. THE DESIGN -BUILD CONTRACTORS FOR EACH TRADE MUST NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT IF THEY FIND THAT THE SCOPE OF WORK EXCEEDS THE LEVEL OF MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL OR PLUMBING WORK INDICATED ON THESE DRAWINGS SO THAT ANY NECESSARY ENGINEERING CAN OCCUR AND ADDITIONAL PLANS CAN BE FILED, OR IF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO DO THE WORK IN THE FIELD. THE CONTRACTORS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING ASAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR WORKERS AND THE PUBLIC AT ALL TIMES. 11.
