All required drainage swales must be shown on the plot plan and
constructed in all subdivisions prior to the Department of
Comnunity Development performing a final inspection of any struCtu
CARMEL/CLAY DEPARTMENT OF 0062AMITY DEVELQPtflM per plans on file or per the following:
Constructed swales shall be a minimum of 1'6" deep with side slope
BUILDING PERMIT of not less than 4 to 1.
REQUIRED PIDT PLAN INFORMATION
The below listed information must be included on all site or plot, plans which are to be
submitted to the Carmel/Clay Department of Conulunity Development as a part of the
Building Permit review process.
If limited, pertinent information is desired from the Department of Community Development,
a five (5) day waiting period MAY be required in order to search files for the
desired information.
The below REQUIRED information can be secured from the landowner or land developer:
Lot drawn to scale
All dimensions
Scale and North arrow
All roads, alleys, etc., right-of-way
All other utility and drainage right-of-way and easements
Any applicable flood plain area
Building pad elevation and lot corner elevations 1
All accessory buildings -- existing or proposed
All sidewalks and driveways
Sewer and water lines, septic system and well location
Drainage flow arrows
All drainage swales and facilities (retention/detention areas etc.)
Dimensional cross sections of all drainage swales
All subsurface drainage facilities
I certify that all of the above listed information is shown completely and accurately
on the attadhed plot or site plan as submitted with a building permit application
to the Cannel/Clay Department of Community Development
