RTU-1
Occupied mode: RTU fan shall run run continuously. Open CIA damper
Unoccupied mode: Fan shall cycle upon call for heating or cooling. Close O/A
dampers.
For Humidistat: Cooling has priority. Upon call for dehumidification, when cooling
set point is met, operate compressors to cool supply air to 55 F [ADJ.] and utilize
hot gas reheat to reheat supply air to 70 F [ADJ].
EF-1
EF-1 shall operate from a occupancy sensor with override switch. Override shall be
of an adjustable/programmable duration.
EF-2
EF-2 shall operate from timer and will run continuously when the building is
occupied.

General Notes:
1. These plans are diagrammatic in nature, and do not
represent every necessary offset and fitting. Contractor
shall install his work in a manner that will conform wlih
the structure. Contractor shall avoid obstructions,
preserve head room and maintain maximum clearance
without additional cost to the owner.
2. Conceal all piping, power wiring cannot wiring and
control components unless otherwise noted. If
concealment is not possible, contact Engineer for
alternatives prior to fabrication.
3. Sheet metal supply ductwork in concealed spaces shall
be insulated wlih Ih'thick,.75 PCF density, fiberglass
ductwrap. All ductwork in unconditioned spaces shall be
insulated with 2 thick, 1.0 PCF density, fiberglass
duclwrap. (Min 136)
4. Phenolic dud by Pal -Duct or Kool-Duct is an acceptable
alternativeto sheetmetal duct and insulation in
concealed spaces. Use flanged joints.
5. Keep all ductwork, dud system and equipment openings
covered with adhesive duct protective wrap like
VentureTape 1512, until system stall This is to
