WHEREAS, the Carmel Common Council recently converted the Carmel Historic Preservation Fund (#507) into a non-reverting fund in order to enable the Carmel Historic Preservation Commission (the "Commission") to undertake larger projects and better fulfill its mission; and WHEREAS, in order to retain the funds appropriated for the Commission's 2018 projects, the funds must be transferred from the 2018 Department of Community Services Budget into the Non-Reverting Carmel Historic Preservation Fund(#507); and WHEREAS, the 2018 Department of Community Services Budget currently has excess funds in the amount of Sixty Five Thousand Dollars ($65,000.00) in Line Item 43-590.29 — Historic Preservation Committee.
