1. REFER TO SCHEDULES, DETAILS AND DIAGRAMS FOR PIPING , PIPE SIZES NOT INDICATED ON THE PLANS.
2. CONTRACTORS SHALL FURNISH AND INSTALL THE PLUMBING SYSTEMS AS PER THE STATE CODE AND APPLICABLE
LOCAL CODES.
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT SCALE THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS F OR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING FINAL
MEASUREMENTS. COORDINATE WITH ARCHITECTURAL PLANS A ND ACTUAL FIELD CONDITIONS.
4. PLANS TO BE CONSIDERED DIAGRAMMATIC AND ALONG WITH SPECIFICATIONS, REFLECT A MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE
STANDARD.
5. EACH CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE AND PAY FOR ALL FEES A ND PERMITS ASSOCIATED WITH HIS PORTION OF THE
WORK.
6. CONTRACTORS SHALL COORDINATE ALL ASPECTS OF THEIR W ORK WITH OTHER TRADES PRIOR TO AND DURING
CONSTRUCTION/INSTALLATION.
7. WHEN A CONFLICT BETWEEN PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS OR NOTES OCCURS. THE ENGINEER SHALL DECIDE
WHICH GOVERNS. GENERALLY, THE MORE RESTRICTIVE, MOR E SPECIFIC, OR STRICTER PROVISION SHALL
GOVERN. IF ANY DISCREPANCIES ARE DISCOVERED ON THE PLANS OR BETWEEN THE PLANS AND THE
SPECIFICATIONS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE GEN ERAL CONTRACTOR AND OBTAIN CLARIFICATION OF
THE INTENT FROM THE ENGINEER PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OR INSTALLATION OF PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS.
8. ALL PIPING EXTENDED ABOVE PODIUM DECK OR TERMINATED IN STAIRWELL SHALL BE TERMINATED IN A MANNER
TO ALLOW CONNECTION UNDER NEXT PHASES OF PROJECT (R ESIDENTIAL).
9. WORK UNDER THIS PHASE (FOUNDATIONS AND UNDERGROUND) SHALL CONSIST OF, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
FURNISHING, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND WARRANTY OF P LUMBING PIPING INDICATED ON GARAGE PLANS AS
INDICATED ON P -100, P -200 AND P -300 SERIES DRAWINGS.
10. VERIFY ALL FLOOR ELEVATIONS WITH STRUCTURAL DRAWING S.
11. COORDINATE PIPING INVERT ELEVATIONS WITH CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS.
12. VENTING OF GARAGE DRAINS IS NOT SHOWN ON DRAWINGS. VENTS WILL BE INCLUDED AS A COMBINATION
WASTE AND VENT SYSTEM WHEN EXTENSIONS OF SANITARY T O FUTURE BUILDINGS IS COMPLETED.

2. PROVIDE ROUGH -IN AND TEMPORARILY CAP STANDPIPES FOR EXTENSION UNDER FUTURE BUILDING
CONSTRUCTION. STANDPIPE SYSTEMS WILL BE MANUAL WET TYPE USING STREET PRESSURE AND SUPPLEMENTED
BY FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTIONS LOCATED ON EACH BUILDING CONTAINING STANDPIPES.
3. STANDPIPE SYSTEMS WILL BE INTERCONNECTED WITHIN EAC H FUTURE BUILDING.
4. FIRE WATER SERVICE FOR EACH BUILDING SHALL BE SUPPL IED FROM WATER SERVICE ROOM AT GARAGE LEVEL IN
BUILDING 5. SUPPLY PIPING FOR EACH BUILDING SHALL BE LOCATED BELOW GARAGE FLOOR AND SHALL EXTEND TO

6. FLOW AND TAMPER SWITCHES SHALL BE PROVIDED AND INSTALLED BY SPRINKLER CONTRACTOR. WIRING
CONNECTIONS AND EXTENSION TO MONITORING LOCATION SHALL BE PROVIDED BY THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR.

BY THE USE OF THRUST BLOCKS WHERE SOIL IS STABLE AN D CAPABLE OF RESISTING ANTICIPATED THRUST.
10. CONTRACTORS SHALL FURNISH AND INSTALL THE FIRE SYST EMS AS PER THE STATE CODE, APPLICABLE LOCAL
CODES, AND NFPA GUIDELINES.
11. EACH CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE AND PAY FOR ALL FEES A ND PERMITS ASSOCIATED WITH HIS PORTION OF THE
