of plans and a structural analysis letter/report that we can review? You will likely need building permit approval
through Building & Code Services.

Street in Carmel, Indiana. The upgrade will include replacing (2) antennas and removing some existing

There’s no real square footage, as everything being done is on the actual tower itself.
Could you please elaborate on what you are looking for in a Builder of Record? I’ve not encountered this before with a
cell tower.

Amy,
This email is to inform you of our findings regarding the proposed upgrade to the antennas and equipment at the 1776
E. 116th Street location (Woodland tower). Based on the information submitted to the Department of Community
Services Planning & Zoning Dept., the requested upgrades are minor and only involve the construction of minor
additional structures or equipment. The Tower Ordinance within the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) does allow
for the replacement or co‐location of antennas without additional public hearings in front of the Board of Zoning
Appeals. No public hearing is required at this time. Please note that any additional expansions in the future will require
additional review, and may also require a public hearing depending on their scope.
This email serves as the approval letter from the Planning/Zoning Dept. Please continue to communicate with the
Building & Code Services Dept. to obtain the required permits and inspections.
