All building construction work, mechanical and electrical
Installations, and equipment connections required as part of
this project shall comply with the State building Rules and
Regulations, local Ordinances and any other statutory
provisions pertaining to this class type of work, any such
rules and regulations shall be considered as part of the
Specifications and Drawings.
Prior to construction, the Contractor shall contact all
Utility Companies and obtain the locations of all utility
lines in the construction area. The Contractor shall be solely
responsible For protecting all utilities encountered during
the construction.
The Contractor shall coordinate the exact locations of all
utilities and coordinate requirements required by all
utilities concerning locations of meters, underground lines,
etc. to assure all utilities may be available for this project.
All concrete floors must be 4,000 psl compressive strength
at a 25 day test.
All drywall shall be 5/b" Type "X" one -hour fire rated: Taped,
Spackled, Sanded and Ready for Painting.
Interior wall Finishes shall be in accordance with Sec. 502.2
and Table 5-A. Smoke Density shall be no greater than 450
when tested In accordance with U.B.C. Standard 8-I.
1. Exit doors shall have no inside key lock In accordance with
U.B.G. Standards.
8. All dimensions must be verified In the field by G.G.
9. Each Sub -Contractor shall do his own cutting and patching as
required for his portion of the work.
10. Handicapped toilet rooms to be provided. Provide grab -bars
as per LH.A.C. requirements and 5'-0" diameter clearance In
each specified toilet room.
II. All kitchen equipment to be supplied by owner and are not
Urof contract. Contractor to provide rough -in only, for items
furnished by owner. Verify exact location and requirements
Kith owner prior to installation.
12. Painting - All surfaces shall be prepared for new paint or for
repainting.
- Kitchen area and all Rest Rooms shall de painted
with first a primer and top coated with alkyd -semi,
gloss enamel.
- Dr wall First coat primer, and two (2) top coats of
Latex Egg Shell enamel.
- Need First coat primer, top coated with Latex trim.
- Metal First coat zinc chromate primer, top coated
with Metalastic enamel, or enamel.
13. All plumbing work must be Installed by licensed plumbing
contractor, as required by State 6 Local authorities.
14. All electrical work must be Installed by licensed electrical
contractor, as required by State 6 Local authorities.
15. All permits must be obtained from Local authorities as required.
16. Any wood blocking used In walls or platforms must be fire
treated.
