C. VERIFY CONDITIONS OF EXISTING PARTITIONS TO REMAIN AND PATCH/PAINT AS NECESSARY
TO MATCH NEW.
D. COORDINATE SIZE AND LOCATION OF NEW AND RELOCATED EQUIPMENT WITH NEW PARTITION
LAYOUT.
E. REFER TO MEP DOCUMENTS FOR EXTENT OF MEP WORK.
F. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO PATCH AND REPAIR ROOF AS REQUIRED PER ROOFING
MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PLACEMENT OF NEW MEP ITEMS. COORDINATE ALL
ROOFING WORK WITH LANDLORDS ROOFING CONTRACTOR.
G. REPAIR AND SECURE IN PLACE ALL EXISTING INSULATON AT EXTERIOR WALLS.
H. MAINTAIN EXISTING FIRE-RATING AT ALL FIRE-RATED W ALLS TO REMAIN.
J. PROVIDE 20 GAUGE CONTINUOUS FLAT STRAPPING FOR WALL – HUNG CABINETS, OFFICE
OVERHEAD BINS, GRAB BARS, WASHROOM ACCESSORIES, ETC. BACKING PLATE TO SPAN A
MINIMUM OF ONE STUD PAST END OF ITEM BEING SUPPORTED. USE #10 PAN HEAD
SELFTAPPING SHEET METAL SCREWS SPACED AT 4" O.C. AT EACH STUD. FLAT STRAPPING TO
BE 8” H, LOCATED TOP AND BOTTOM OF ITEMS REQUIRING MORE THAN ONE STRAP.
