A-1 ALL EXPANSION ANCHORS SHALL BE 'HILTI KWIK-BOLT III' (AS MANUFACTURED BY HILTI
FASTENING SYSTEMS, INC.) OR AN APPROVED EQUAL, MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF
FEDERAL SPECIFICATION FF-S-325, GROUP II, TYPE 4, CLASS 1.
A-2 ALL ANCHOR SPACING, EMBEDMENT, EDGE DISTANCE, AND INSTALLATION SHALL BE IN
ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDATIONS. REFER TO SECTIONS AND DETAILS

LIGHT GAGE STEEL STUDS
LS-1 ALL LIGHT GAGE STEEL FRAMING WORK SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE "DESIGN OF
COLD FORMED STRUCTURAL STEEL MEMBERS" OF THE AMERICAN IRON AND STEEL INSTITUTE
(AISI), 2012 EDITION.
LS-2 ALL 16 GAGE STEEL STUDS SHALL BE GALVANIZED, AND SHALL BE FORMED FROM
STEEL THAT MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF ASTM A 653, GRADE A, WITH A MINIMUM YIELD
STRENGTH OF 50,000 PSI.
LS-3 PROVIDE STUD BRIDGING IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE
MANUFACTURER, BUT DO NOT EXCEED 5'-0" VERTICAL SPACING BETWEEN ROWS OF BRIDGING.
LS4 PROVIDE DOUBLE STUDS ON BOTH SIDES OF ALL WALL OPENINGS EXCEEDING 16' IN WIDTH.
LS-5 PROVIDE RIGID CONNECTION CLIPS AT BASE OF ALL LOW WALL STUDS. ALL RIGID CONNECTIONS
SHALL BE CLARK DIETRICH MOMENT CLIPS, OR AN APPROVED EQUAL WITH THE FOLLOWING
MINIMUM PROPERTIES:

MISCELLANEOUS
Z-1 VERIFY ALL EXISTING DIMENSIONS AND CONDITIONS PRIOR TO FABRICATION OF ANY
STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS. IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE ENGINEER AND ARCHITECT OF ANY
DISCREPANCIES FOUND DURING FIELD VERIFICATION.
Z-2 ALL STRUCTURAL WORK SHALL CONFORM TO INFORMATION SHOWN ON THE STRUCTURAL
DRAWINGS. HOWEVER, THE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS SHALL GOVERN ALL DIMENSIONS.
Z-3 USE EXTREME CAUTION DURING THE DEMOLITION OF EXISTING STRUCTURES. DEMOLITION AND
EXCAVATION SHALL BE CARRIED OUT BY METHODS THAT W ILL NOT AFFECT THE INTEGRITY OF
EXISTING STRUCTURES TO REMAIN. PROVIDE SHORING AND BRACING WHERE REQUIRED.
PCF-1 SUBMIT MANUFACTURER'S PRODUCT DATA SHEETS ON ALL PRODUCTS TO BE USED FOR
THE WORK. SUBMIT DESCRIPTION FOR PROTECTION OF SURROUNDING AREAS, SURFACE
PREPARATION, APPLICATION, AND FINAL CLEANING.
PCF-2 AGGREGATE EXPOSURE: MOTTLED SALT -AND -PEPPER FINE AGGREGATE EXPOSURE TO
MATCH EXISTING.
PCF-3 SPECULAR GLOSS/ REFLECTIONS CRITERIA ACCORDING TO ASTM D523:
a. SPECIFIED OVERALL GLOSS VALUE (SOGV) ............ 40

G. ULTRA VIOLET LIGHT AND WATER SPRAY: ASTM G23-18 - NO ADVERSE EFFECT TO ULTRA
VIOLET AND WATER SPRAY.
PCF-5 SLIP RESISTANCE CRITERIA:
a. STATIC COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION: ANSI B101.1 - MEET OR EXCEED 0.6 WET FOR
FLATAREAS.
In. TEST SLIP RESISTANCE AT TURNOVER.
PCF46 PENETRATING HARDENER/ DENSIFIER: CLEAR LIQUID REACTIVE LITHIUM -SILICATE BASED.
a. CONSOLDECK 2320 LITHIUM DENSIFIER, OR APPROVED EQUAL.
PCF-7 JOINT FILLER: HI -TECH SYSTEMS HT-PE65, HT-PE85, OR APPROVED EQUAL TO MATCH EXISTING.
PCF-8 CRACK AND SPALL REPAIR PRODUCT: HI -TECH SYSTEMS SPALL TX3 OR APPROVED EQUAL TO
MATCH EXISTING.
PCF-9 EXAMINE FLOOR SUBSTRATES TO RECEIVE POLISHED CONCRETE FLOOR SYSTEM. DO NOT
BEGIN SURFACE PREPARATION OR INSTALLATION UNTIL UNSATISFACTORY CONDITIONS ARE
CORRECTED AND APPROVED.
PCF-10 PROTECT SURROUNDING AREAS AND ADJACENT SURFACES FROM DUST, CONTACT W ITH
OVERSPRAY OF DENSIFIER AND CONTACT WITH JOINT FILLER, CRACK, OR SPALL REPAIR
MATERIALS.
PCF-11 SURFACE PREPARATION PRODUCTS SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

PCF-12 CLEAN DIRT, DUST, OIL, GREASE AND OTHER CONTAMINANTS FROM SURFACES THAT
INTERFERE WITH PENETRATION OR PERFORMANCE OF SPECIFIED PRODUCT. USE
APPROPRIATE CONCRETE CLEANERS APPROVED BY THE CONCRETE SURFACE TREATMENT
MANUFACTURER WHERE NECESSARY. RINSE THOROUGHLY USING PRESSURE WATER SPRAY
TO REMOVE CLEANER RESIDUES. ALLOW SURFACES TO DRY COMPLETELY BEFORE
APPLICATION OF PRODUCT.
PCF-13 INSTALL JOINT FILLER IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER'S WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS,
UNLESS JOINTS ARE TO BE FILLED AFTER GRINDING AND POLISHING.
PCF-14 CONTRACTOR SHALL POLISH AND APPLY DENSIFIER, CRACK AND SPALL REPAIRS AND GROUT
COATS IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED POLISHED CONCRETE FLOOR PROCEDURE
SUBMITTAL, AND SHALL ACHIEVE SPECIFIED APPEARANCE AND DURABILITY REQUIREMENTS.
PCF-15 PROTECT COMPLETED POLISHED CONCRETE FLOOR SYSTEM FROM DAMAGE UNTIL
SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION.
PCF-16 REPAIR DAMAGED AREAS OF COMPLETED POLISHED CONCRETE FLOOR SYSTEM TO
SATISFACTION OF CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTATIVE.
