We have reviewed the re -plat send by Carmel DOCS to the Hamilton County Surveyor's Office
on May 16 2019, for this project and have the following comments:
1. The proposed project falls in the incorporated area and MS4 jurisdiction of the City of
Carmel.
2. The proposed project falls in the Williams Creek Regulated Drain Watershed.
3. The proposed project does NOT fall in a Carmel Wellhead Protection zone.
4. Please direct all stormwater questions to the City of Carmel Engineering Dept.
5. The proposed project must comply with applicable parts of the Hamilton County
Stormwater Management Technical Standards Manual.
6. Please submit an outlet permit request for the discharge to the JR Collins Regulated
Drain.

RE: Avid Hotel Waiver Request
Mr. Kashman,
Weihe Engineers request a waiver from standards for pipe capacity on a 91’ run of existing HDPE storm
sewer. This sewer was installed lower and flatter than was intended but was not corrected after as-builts.
This sewer is private and will remain private. Additionally, in accordance with Carmel standards,
hydraulic modeling demonstrates that that hydraulic grade line will not exceed the top-of-castings of the
existing storm structures. We have worked with Crossroads to address all other comments regarding the
existing storm sewer.
