CARMEL BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals, will conduct
a meeting on , 2016, at 6:00p.m., in the Council Chambers, Second Floor,
Carmel City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, to hold a Public Hearing regarding
an appeal from a determination made by the Director of the Department of Community Services
("Appeal of Director's Determination") which is identified by the Docket Number referenced
above.
The real estate made the subject of the Appeal of Director's Determination is
approximately 36.63 acres in size, is commonly known as Cannel Dad's Club Badger Fields,
5459 East Main Street, Carmel, Indiana 46033, is owned by the Carmel Dads Club, Inc. ("CDC")
and is located on the south side of 131St Street between Gray Road and Hazel Dell Parkway (the
"CDC Real Estate").
The Carrington Woods North Homeowners Association, Inc. and various homeowners in
the Carrington Woods residential neighborhood (collectively "Carrington") are appealing the
Director's Determination that CDC is not required under the Cannel Zoning Ordinance to apply
for and obtain from the Cannel Board of Zoning Appeals approval of a Special Use Amendment
as a condition to proceeding with construction of an air-supported building 100,000 square foot
in area and 74 feet in height, as outlined in the CDC's application for a Development Standards
Variance, Docket No. 15110003 V.
The Appeal of Director's Determination, identified with the above referenced Docket
Number, and copies of the request and accompanying documentation are on file for examination
at the Department of Community Services, One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032, telephone
(317) 571-2417.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on Carrington's Appeal of
Director's Determination, either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard
at the above-mentioned time and place. Written comments filed with the Department of
Community Services prior to or at the Public Hearing will be considered, and oral comments will
be heard at the Public Hearing.
The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
