Sequence of Operations
DOAS-1
The DOAS shall run continuously when the building is occupied.
Heating Mode:
Stage 1:
• Modulating Heat pump shall be enabled when O/A temperature is <60 F(adj) and >40 (adj).
• Dischargw air temperature shall be adjustable between 55 F and 85 F.
• Refer to Stage 2 for operation below 40 F O/A temperature.
• Enable Stage 1 heat at 45 F when O/A temperature is increasing.
Stage 2:
• Shall be enabled when O/A temperature is below 40 F (adj).
• Modulating natural gas furnace shall utilize full modulation to maintain desired discharge air temperature.
• The discharge air temperature shall be adjustable from 55 F to 85 F.
• Disable stage 2 heat at 45 F when O/A temperature is increasing
Cooling mode:
• Refrigerant compressors shall be enabled when O/A temperature is >63 F (adj).
When coolly Is enabled the O/A should be cooled to 55 F utilizing a digital scroll compressor for load

matching and shall supply it using the following supply air reset schedule. The unit shall use modulating hot
as reheat to reheat supply air as needed. (Supply Air Reset curve shall initially be linear).

A. If CIA temperature is 63 F (adj), reheat supply to 70 F (adj).
B. If CIA temperature is 90 F (adj), reheat supply to 55 F (adl
Monitoring points
The following monitoring points shall be visible from the DOAS-1 controller.
• Supply Air Temperature (DB)
• Outdoor Air Temperature(DB)
• Outdoor Air Humidity (RH)
DOAS shall have a remote mounted (coordinate mounting location with engineer prior to installation) equipment
controller provided by the equipment manufacturer must be capable of meeting the sequence of Operations, with
occupied/unoccupied cycles, and 7 day programmability.
RTU-1, 2
RTUs shall operate when there is a call for heating or cooling from the thermostat. See plans for locations of

The exhaust fan shall operate from timer and will run continuously when the building is occupied
