Dear Mr. Huff:
At the meeting held Monday, June 24, 2019, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following
action regarding the Development Standard Variance (V) filed by you for the property located at 1236 Skytag Drive:
APPROVED: Docket No. 19050025 V, Development Standards Variance approvals for Minimum 10’ side yard
building setback required; 4.8’ granted.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements
must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and
approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is June 24, 2022.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
