Roof Shingles
Standard 3 -tab, 240 lbs. per square. NOTE: Dimensional
shingles may also be used providing structural analysis of
Super Foam roof permits additional weight of heavier shingles.
Roof Cement
Roofing cement shall be (wet/dry) asbestos -free roofing and
flashing cement meeting ASTM specification D-4586 Type I
Standard Specification for Asphalt Roof Cement, Asbestos -
free.
Fastening Screws
Fasteners shall be low profile clip fastener -type screws with
pancake head. These screws shall be 302 stainless steel #10-
13 x 1 -inch long with GP point end.
Screws as described above are available from Triangle
Fastener Corp., 800-486-1832, and other fastener suppliers.

Super Foam Roof Systems
Installation
NOTE: Prior to application of shingles to Patio Enclosures'
Super Foam roofs, all silicone sealant used in the assembly
and caulking of the roof must be given proper cure time to
allow it to set and not be disturbed by shingle installation.
Application
Install shingles using roofing cement applied in strips parallel to
the I -beams of the Super Foam roof. Space the cement strips
approximately 12 inches apart. Lay shingles from Gave to ridge
in 3 -foot -wide panels attaching every other course with two
screws per shingle. Use 1/2 -tab or 11/2 -tab stagger.
No felt underlayment is required.
