GENERALNOTES
1. REFER TO THE UNIT PLANS FOR THE PIPE ROUTING IN EACH UNIT.
2. REFER TO THE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING FOR PANTRY, FOOD PREP EQUIPMENT CALLOUTS.
3. CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE LOCATION OF PLUMBING RISER IN SHAFT WITH OTHER TRADES.
4. REFER TO PLUMBING ISOMETRIC DRAWINGS FOR PIPE SIZES NOT LABELED IN PLANS.
5. ALL STORM TO BE INSULATED VERTICALLY AND HORIZONTALLY.
6. ALL SANITARY TO BE INSULATED ON ALL HORIZONTAL RUNS IN SLEEPING, PUBLIC AREAS, AND
BACK -OFFICE AREAS.
7. CONTRACTOR TO ENSURE THAT ALL PIPE FITTINGS AND CLEANOUTS SHALL BE RATED FOR THE
MAXIMUM SYSTEM OPERATING PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE FOR ALL UNDERGROUND
SANITARY PIPES.
8. GC TO PROVIDE CLEANOUTS AT INTERVALS OF NOT MORE THAN 10OFTAND AT CHANGE IN
HORIZONTAL DIRECTION GREATER THAN 45DEG. CLEANOUT'S SHALL BE THE SAME SIZE AS THE
PIPE SERVING THE CLEANOUT.
9. CONTRACTOR SHALL ENSURE TO PROVIDE CLEAN OUTAT EVERY BASE OF STACK AS PER LATEST
PLUMBING CODE.
10. CONTRACTOR TO ENSURE AIR GAP BETWEEN THE FLOOR SINK AND THE DRAIN LINE FROM
3-COMPARTMENT SINK.
11. ALL FLOOR MOUNTED AHU CONDENSATE SHALL CONNECT TO NEAREST FLOOR DRAIN.
12. CONTRACTOR TO INSTALLALL THE SANITARY AND STORM PIPES OUTSIDE THE BUILDING BASED
ON FROST DEPTH AND AS PER SITE ELEVATIONS.
13. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AIR GAP FOR ALL DISHWASHERS AT KITCHENETTE SINKS AND
SHALL PROVIDE STAND PIPE CONNECTION FOR ADA DISHWASHER. SEE DETAILS ON SHEET P-103,
DETAIL 22(23.
14. ELEVATOR PIT/ SHAFT DIMENSIONS AND CAPACITY/ SPEED ARE BASIS OF DESIGN SPECIFICATION
ONLY. GC SHALL CO-ORDINATE WITH OWNER AND SUBMIT ELEVATOR SHOP DRAWINGS /
SPECIFICATIONS TO BASE4, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BUT NO LATER THAN PRIOR TO INITIAL
MUNICIPAL FILING COMMENTS RESUBMITTAL.
15. CONTRACTOR SHALL ENSURE AIR GAP BETWEEN THE DRAIN LINE OF ELEVATOR SUMP PUMP AND
THE HUB DRAIN.
16. CONTRACTOR SHALL ENSURE WASTE WATER WHERE DISCHARGED INTO THE BUILDING DRAINAGE
SYSTEM SHALL BE AT A TEMPERATURE OF NOT GREATER THAN 140°F.
17. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE INSULATION FOR WASTE AND WATER PIPING SERVING THE DUMPSTER
AREA.
18. ROLL IN SHOWER FLOORS SHOULD BE MUD SET TILE AND ALLOW PROPER DRAINAGE TO THE
FLOOR DRAIN.
19. CONTRACTOR TO REFER TO MANUFACTURER SHEET FOR CONDENSATE DRAIN CONNECTION FOR
WATER HEATERS.
