Douglas Staley, Jr. Staley Signs PO Box 515 Indianapolis, IN 46206 Re: BZA Docket No. 19060004 V: 13250 Hazel Dell Ground Sign Dear Mr. Staley: At the meeting held Monday, July 22, 2019, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following action regarding the Development Standard Variance (V) filed by you for the property located at 13250 Hazel Dell Parkway: APPROVED with Condition: Docket No. 19060004 V, Development Standards Variance approvals for Min. 5-ft setback from street right of way allowed; 0-ft setback granted, with the condition of the Petitioner seeking Consent to Encroach approval from the Board of Public Works & Safety. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is July 22, 2022. Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
